High School Musical is based on the hugely successful Disney Channel film that first aired in 2006 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon.
The musical features a book by David Simpatico, with music adapted and arranged by Bryan Louiselle. It includes many of the songs that became widely recognised, such as Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and Breaking Free.
This new UK production, developed by Hope Mill Theatre and Chris Harper Productions is co-directed by Joseph Houston and William Whelton.
Tobias Turley, Leonor Correia, Caitlin Tipping, Luke Bayer and recently announced Disney star KayCee Stroh will star, alongside Jason Donovan and Harry Judd at select performances
