Set in 1960s Baltimore, Hairspray follows Tracy Turnblad, a girl with big dreams of dancing on TV and making a real difference in her city.
The show features some of musical theatre's most loved songs, including Good Morning Baltimore, Welcome to the 60s and You Can't Stop the Beat.
Neil Hurst will return as Edna Turnblad, with more casting still to be announced. Brenda Edwards and Paul Kerryson are also back to direct the production, alongside choreographer Drew McOnie.
