The Snowman in London

A brand-new production of The Snowman will have its world premiere at London’s Peacock Theatre.

Based on Raymond Briggs’ much-loved book, the production follows a young boy whose snowman comes to life before the pair head off on their magical adventure, with Howard Blake’s famous score and Walking in the Air returning as part of the show.

This new version will feature specially created puppets, with Paddington Bear puppet designer Tahra Zafar helping bring the Snowman to life, while Olivier Award winner Will Tuckett will direct and choreograph.

Anna Fleischle, whose theatre work includes Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and 2:22 A Ghost Story, is behind the production design as the team creates a fresh version of a story that has been entertaining theatre audiences for decades.
